I had a lot of hermit crabs before but my longest one lasted 3 years and I was sad when he died. Anyway, I recomend hermit crabs to anyone because they are cute and fun! -

when you have something not bilaterally symmetric on your photo, such as a gastropod shell, do not flip it to create a mirror image. Either you (your hermit crab) is in possession of an extremely rare (possibly very valuable) left-handed specimen, or you flipped your image.

I love hermit crabs.I have three there names are elvis,coconut,and squrt.I totally recommend them because they are easy to care for.All you have to do is retain the humidity in there tank and make sure they have fresh food and water.With proper care they can live up to ten years plus.Also remember to not give them painted shells because the toxic paint will kill them.make sure you also have a hut and climbing toys.Its best to buy three or more because the like being in packs.To those that are getting or already have your hemit crabs I hope you enjoy them I much as I do.Have a great day!

My little sister and I have 2.Paris and Nemo.I think there adorable but i really dont like to hold him im scared he might come out of his shell.Itsnasty when there naked ewww..i used2 have ton of them when i was little.

hey does anyone out there know exactically what to do if i brought a hermit vrab home from the beach i found him in the water and brought him home and dont really know what kind he is or what kind of water he needs or what he eats or why he likes to be fully submerged into the water but when on his sand in his crabatat he barely moves around unless i take him out and put him on a cloth or my hand please someone e-mail me i dont want him to die.
